Bravery is Contagious

It’s not often you can get a Hollywood starlet to do something outside of her comfort zone, but that’s just what actress and wolf enthusiast Crystal Reed did on a sunny Southern California day in July.

Bravery is Contagious

Promoting her first ever campaign on Represent, Crystal went to the Shadowland Foundation located in Lake Hughes, California for a day of education regarding the true nature of wolves. “I was a little nervous at first,” Reed explains with nervous laughter at the Foundation, “because he could definitely eat me!”

Overcoming fear is just one part of Reed’s campaign. For her, it doesn’t matter whether that fear is mind boggling large or something minute, “I think it’s important to be courageous and to be brave,” continuing, “I think now, more than ever, it is so important to spread that message. I just [really] encourage you to please, just do something brave, because it feels so good!”

The second part of the campaign is that of charitable giving. Against Malaria Foundation - a UK based nonprofit working mainly in Sub Saharan Africa, is the charity of choice for Reed. The organization delivers long-lasting insecticide treated nets to protect children and adults from malaria.

A portion of the proceeds from each Bravery is Contagious shirt sold will help buy the nets needed to save lives.
